Job description

IT specialists in the field of application development support all areas and departments supported by our IT systems from their workstations. By modern and always up-to-date systems the working and care of the web applications, data bases and other EDP systems are always arranged interesting. Already after short time the possibility exists to take over and accomplish different activities completely in own responsibility. In addition to the central, technical focus of the training, data communication with colleagues or external partners is also one of the tasks of an IT specialist in application development.

In the course of your training you will take on the following tasks, among others:

• Supervision of SAP
• Development of applications in the SAP environment
• Support of databases e.g. web applications, logistics (Swisslog)
• Creation and maintenance of interfaces between different systems
• Data communication with internal and external partners
• Intranet maintenance
• EDI data transfer

We start the selection process in November of the previous year: This includes a professional aptitude test, which measures various performance characteristics (e.g. mathematics, concentration and memory skills and language skills), and an interview.

This is the basis on which we select our trainees. The training itself generally begins on 01 August of each year.
